Our shows are all about having your guests get lost in a world of fun. We engage the audience and get out on the dance floor with you. Make no mistake, we will get people dancing and having fun! Our show is energetic and a must see!
Weddings are our specialty and we have the experience and class to make sure your wedding will be remembered. We can perform solos at your wedding ceremony, quiet classics during your dinner reception, and get everyone on the floor dancing when dinner is over. Our set-list changes to suit the occasion and we are happy to play special songs or sets to cater for the audience at hand. Whatever the event you can be assured Planet Groove will ensure all people leave extremely satisfied and have had FUN and danced the night away. Whether it be 30 second instrumental stings, laid back dinner jazz, acid-funk, pop, disco, retro or rock, Planet Groove can handle all with ease; Music from: "60's to today's top 40's - spanning Jazz to Jamiroquai and James Brown!
The Band is also unique in that we specially put together a songlist to accommodate each show (whether it be Corporate, Private Function, Club, Pub, 21st/40th/50th/60th etc - we also do special requests) ie. Real musicians playing real music live! ALL Age Groups are catered for at your special function. Most acts have a limited repertoire or staid setlists - be it too much rock, pop, older stuff, too soft or jazzy, to sedate.
Also the band can play in a reduced size format (duo, trio, quartet) to accomodate for all budgets. Click on the quotation page and mention your desired budget and band format ( duo up to a 9 piece if Brass Section is required).

Note the band can meet all budgets and also happy to perform songs at wedding/church ceremonies. The band also is happy to learn special songs and regularly play bridal waltzes live.
